When did you last keep a diary? Kontact Mobile is asking you to share your experience…

If you own a N900 phone and have tested or want to test Kontact Mobile it would be great if you participate in our current user survey- a diary.

Kontact Mobile has been under heavy development for the last weeks and however it is still at an early stage we encourage everybody to contribute and to become part of the process!

You will do real pioneer work with reporting what you liked and didn’t like as well as your ideas on usability and interaction design. This will help the developer team to create a great user experience for Kontact Mobile in future. Help us to shape this great product!

    Have been annoyed for a while that my N900 doesn’t see my kolab-entries in the calendar. Will have a look at your project immediately :)

    I do not own the N900, but I have one idea what I have wanted to Kontact KJournal to have.

    It is great you can easily keep journal. But today the writing is just so “old”. We have webcams in our laptops and we have second camera (facetime) in phones, but we do not use them.

    Has anyone grown up watching Star Trek? (or do those fans ever grow up?) The logs were audio or video.
    You just pressed the button and you talked it to camera or just for the mic.

    N900 and video/audio journal function with Kontact would be just so awesome. Instead just writing your feelings and emotions. You could actually keep N900 in your hand and talk to it. And watching/listening the results would be much better when you can hear or see your emotions again. Something what does not writing tell easily.

    I cannot create new account, are there some (known) missing dependencies out there?

    Thanks for your comments. We have encountered some performance problems. So we will create new packages to solve these. All people having trouble with start-up / performance should wait for those to arrive.

    To create a new account you will have to start Kmail mobile atm. Open the flap (“Actions”) on the start screen and then press “New Account”.
